Minami-Matsuura District (Japanese: Minami-Matsuura District / Minami-u-ra-mi-ma-tsu-gu san Minamimatsuura Gun * / ? ) Is located in Japan's Nagasaki Prefecture of five island archipelago in the county .
The last area contains all the region Five Islands archipelago, in large merger in the next five island areas of Tomie cho , jade Pu-cho , Mitsui Yurakucho , Qi Su-cho , Naru-cho and Fukue City merged into five island city , the five island areas of new fish head-cho , on the fifth Shimamachi , Agawa-cho , Nara-echi-cho , and Wakamatsu-cho 5-cho merge into Shin-Shikatoshima-cho, so at present, Namsongpo-gun only administers a new town of Gotoma-cho.

In the period of the national rule , it was part of the former Matsue county .

- In 1876: After the defamation of the county , after many consolidations, Matsuura Prefecture became part of Nagasaki Prefecture .
- 1878: Matsuura-gun is divided into four counties of Higashi-Muraura-gun , Nishisumura-gun , Kita-matsuura-gun , and Namso-mura-gun .
- April 1, 1889: Implementation of the Machino system , under the jurisdiction of Namatsuura-gun : Fujiang, Aopu, Qishan, Benshan, Dabin, Huadao, Jiuhe, Fujiang, Yuzhipu, Mitsuile, Yusu , Nayurushima-mura, Wakamatsu-mura, Hironoshima-mura, Qingfang-village, Hamamuraura-mura, Yumegumi-mura, Kita-megumi-mura, Aikawa-mura, Narao-mura. (20 villages)
- October 1, 1919: Fujiang Village was rebuilt as Fujiang-cho . (1 town 19 village)
- September 1, 1922: Fujiang Village was rebuilt as Fujiang Town . (2 towns and 18 villages)
- October 17, 1932: Kawamura was renamed as Kawamachi . (3 towns and 17 villages)
- November 3, 1933: Yukiuramura was rebuilt as Yujiura-machi . (4 towns and 16 villages)
- November 3, 1940: Mitsui Music Village was reorganized into Mitsui Rakucho . (5 towns and 15 villages)
- April 1, 1941: Qingfang Village was reorganized into Qingfang Town . (6 towns and 14 villages)
- April 3, 1941: The village of Ogi was renamed Ogimachi . (7 towns and 13 villages)
- December 8th, 1943: The village of Narae was converted to Narao-cho . (8 towns and 12 villages)
- April 1, 1954: Fujiang-cho, Opoura-mura, Sakiyama-mura, Honsan-mura , and Dabin -mura were merged into Fukue City and separated from Minami Matsuura-gun. (7 towns and 8 villages)
- On June 1, 1956: Aomoricho and Hamamuroura Village were merged into Kamioshima -cho . (7 towns and 7 villages)
- September 25, 1956: Wakamatsu Village and Hinoshima Village are merged into Wakamatsu-cho . (8 towns and 5 villages)
- September 30, 1956: Yumemura and Kitayumura merge into Niimimachi . (9 towns and 3 villages)
- March 31, 1957: The village of Huayuan was incorporated into Fujiang City. (9 towns and 2 villages)
- November 3, 1957: Nayurishima village was restructured and renamed as Naijou-cho . (10 towns and 1 village)
- November 1, 1957: The village of Kugashima was incorporated into Fujiang City. (11 towns)
- August 1, 2004: (1 town)
- Fukue-shi, Tomi-cho, Yujiura-machi, Mitsui-machi, Kusu-cho, and Naoyuta-cho were merged into Goshima City .
- Kawakami-cho, Kamigoshima-cho, Wakamatsu-cho, Niimiyukucho, Narao-cho merged into Shin-Shikatoshima-cho . [1]
